Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma has commented that “the thought of facing Australian cricketer Brett Lee, as a young cricketer, during the early days of his career brought him many sleepless nights”. Rohit Sharma commented that he was worried about facing the cricketer, during the 2007 tour of Australia during which Sharma was part of the visiting team. Speaking on the matter, Rohit Sharma commented that “before the series began, he would closely monitor Lee’s bowling so that he could play him better”. Rohit Sharma also commented that “Lee was performing at his best during that time of his career”. Sharma also commented that “he also dreaded facing off against former South African pacer Dale Steyn, who had the ability to swing the ball, at high speeds”. Rohit Sharma, who would be an integral part of the Indian squad when the tour Australia later this year for a four-match Test series. Speaking on the upcoming task at hand, Rohit Sharma commented that “the Indian batsman really needs to look out for Josh Hazelwood. He stated that Hazelwood was a disciplined bowler and that he sticks to good lengths for most parts of the game”.
