Indian batsman KL Rahul Reveals The Toughest Indian Bowler Jasprit Bumrah To Keep Wickets To who is currently enjoying a run as the number one choice wicketkeeper in the limited over formats for the Indian cricket team, has commented that “Jasprit Bumrah is the toughest bowler to keep wickets to in the Indian team”.
KL Rahul who began keeping for India during the home series against India, was also behind the stumps for the team in New Zealand, during their T20 series. KL Rahul is also expected to be the first choice keeper for the team for the upcoming T20 World Cup.
KL Rahul first began keeping wickets during the IPL, when he was playing for Royal Challenger Bangalore (RCB).
KL Rahul comments that “the 2016 season of the IPL, when he was playing for RCB was the breakout season, for him”. He believes that this season helped in getting noticed by the selectors. KL Rahul also remembered his time at RCB during the 2016 season. During this season Rahul opened the batting along with West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle.
Speaking on the matter, KL Rahul commented that “Gayle was an excellent opening partner and that he was a smart cricketer and planned a lot before the start of the game”. Currently, KL Rahul and Chris Gayle are also opening the batting for the Kings XI franchise.
