Hasan Ali Responding Well To Online Rehab Treatment

Pakistani cricketer Hasan Ali is reportedly responding well to online rehabilitation programs that he is currently undertaking, and most likely he would not need to go under the knife for surgery, to fix his back injury.

Ali during the lockdown is attending an online rehabilitation program conducted by Asif Bashir, who is a neurosurgeon, and Prof. Peter O’Sullivan who is a spinal therapist.

Hassan Ali since the start of 2019 has been issued with back injuries. Because of his injuries, he was forced to pull out from Pakistan’s tour of Australia in later 2019, and later the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in early 2020.

In April of this year, he was diagnosed with excessive stress in his lower back by the medical personnel in the PCB.

Speaking on the matter, Dr. Sohail Saleem, the director of Medical and Sports Sciences, commented that “Hasan picked up the same back injury, twice within a short time period, he commented that this was unusual”.

He stated that “the board will continue to monitor the progress of the cricketer for another five weeks before they make a call on his fitness”. If he recovers in time, he could even be a part of the squad that tours Pakistan in the coming months.
