Eoin Morgan hints at the possibility of Alex Hales

Eoin Morgan hints at the possibility of Alex Hales making a return to the English side Eoin Morgan, the English captain for the limited-overs format, has commented that “out of favour batsman, Alex Hales, has still got a chance to make it back into the national team if he is able to regain the trust of the management and his fellow teammates”. Hales who was kicked out of the side before the start of 2019 World Cup, has performed well of late in domestic cricket. Many have raised questions if Hales would be given another chance and with the T20 World Cup, just around the corner, as this would be the right time to bring Hales back into the team. Speaking on the matter, Morgan commented that “he did not how much longer it would take for Hales to return to the side”. He stated that “it takes a long time to build trust and that Hales would return to the team, only if everyone in the team agreed on it”. Hales was kicked out of the national side in May of last year, since then 11 months have passed, and he has not played any form of international cricket since then. Before he was kicked out of the side, Hales was in good form, he has maintained this form this past year, and his performances in the BBL and PSL are proof of this. Many fans believe that Hales has served punishment and that he should be let back into the team.
