Steve Smith Feels That Jadeja is the Best Fielder in Cricket at Present
Australian cricketer, Steve Smith has commented that Indian cricketer “Ravindra Jadeja is the best fielder in the game, currently, across all formats”.
Smith also commented that “KL Rahul was the most promising prospect among the young Indian cricketers” and that “the IPL, was his most favourite tournament”.
Smith made these comments during an online interaction with fans on Instagram.
Jadeja who is a mainstay in the middle order for team India across different formats has won praise from different former and current cricketers over the years, for his quick thinking and exceptional fielding capabilities, while on the field.
Rahul, on the other hand, has cemented his place in playing XI, over the past year, with consistent performances against different teams.
Smith was also all praise for former Indian skipper MS Dhoni, referring to him as “Mr Cool”. He also praised current Indian skipper Virat Kohli commenting that he was a “freak” when it comes to batting.
When asked about his personal favourite innings throughout his career Smith commented that “his innings of 144 at Birmingham against England during the Ashes” was his favourite Test knock.
