James Anderson Feels COVID-19 OutBreak Could Lead To Extension Of His Career
English cricketer James Anderson has commented that “the break-in cricket brought about by the Coronavirus outbreak could lead to the extension of his career by one to two years”.
James Anderson, who is currently 38 years of age, is in the twilight end of his career and was expected to retire in the about the year’s time.
Cricket Player James Anderson last played cricket in January. Since then he has been off the field due to an injury.
Anderson was recently named in the group of 55 players the ECB had asked to start outdoor preparations, ahead of the team’s home series against West Indies.
Cricketer James Anderson is expected to lead the bowling attack for the English team in the three-match Test series.
Speaking on the matter, Anderson commented that “he was happy for being allowed to start practice again”.
Recently, the English cricket board had announced that they would be pushing back the start of the domestic season of cricket in the country till August 1st, however, this postponement would only affect domestic games, and international encounters are set to go ahead as planned.
England is set to host West Indies, followed by Pakistan in the coming months in Test cricket.
