Alex Hales Comments on his Desire to Get Back into The England Team

England cricketer, Alex Hales, who was left out from the team, before the start of the World Cup last year, has commented that “he would like to make a return to the team, and make amends with his fellow team-mates”.

Hales could likely get a chance to return to the England side, at least in the T20 format, as he is the leading run-scorer in T20 cricket for England in domestic cricket, this season. Speaking on the matter.

Hales commented that he made a few errors in his personal life and it cost him a chance to represent his country in the World Cup.

He stated that ” he hopes that the damage that has been done to his reputation is not severe and that he gets another chance to be a part of the England national side”.

Hales was drooped from the English side after failing a test for a recreational drug. Hales has been performing exceptionally well in domestic as well as international T20 leagues for the past season, he is hoping that he could be a part of the English team for the T20 World Cup.

Earlier this week, the English team’s limited-overs skipper, Eoin Morgan had commented that “Hales could return to the team if he is able to convince the board and the players that he has changed”.
