Yuvraj Singh Apologies For Remarks Against Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal

Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has issued a public apology for his remarks against cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, during a social media interaction with fellow cricketer Rohit Sharma.

Yuvraj had come under heavy criticism from the public after he made some remarks regarding the caste of Cahal during this online interaction.

According to many this was offensive and warranted an apology. Additionally, an advocate from Hisar has also filed legal charges against the cricketer regarding the matter.

Yuvraj made his apologies through his social media account commenting that “he was misunderstood and the outrage that arose, as a result, was unwarranted.”

He however accepted responsibility for his actions apologizing to all those whom he might have hurt unintentionally. In his post, he further stated that “he never believed in any kind of differences in people, based on caste, race or religion and that he had dedicated his life to the welfare of people”.

He stated that “he believes in all people should get the same amount of respect and dignity and that his love for the country and its people was eternal”.
