ENGLAND: English cricketer Tim Bresnan has announced his decision to part ways with County Cricket Club Yorkshire after a 19-year stint with the club.
Bresnan made his first-class debut for the side way back in 2003, and since then has represented the club in different formats.

Speaking on the matter, Bresnan commented that “the main reason for him leaving the club, was to peruse playing opportunities in other locations”.
Bresnan also thanked the club and the management for giving him the opportunity as a youngster to kick start his career, he also stated that “representing Yorkshire was one of his proudest achievements”.
With this move, Bresnan also feels that “other young players in the team will now get more opportunities to expand their careers”.
Bresnan has been an exceptional performer for the team, over the years. Bresnan’s most successful season came in 2016 when he was awarded the Player of the year award by the club for his all-round efforts.

In total Bresnan has played 199 first-class games, 173 List A games, and 173 T20 games over the years for the team. Bresnan also holds the record for best bowling figures for the club in T20 cricket with figures of 6-19.
