Sushant Singh Rajput, who played Dhoni in his biopic found dead at his residence

Indian actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who played the role of MS Dhoni, in his Bollywood biopic, passed away this week.

Sushant was found hanging from the ceiling of his Mumbai apartment this week. The authorities are ruling the death as a suicide.

Sushant made his Bollywood debut in 2013 and during his short career had many memorable performances on the silver screen.

Sushant is most notable for portraying former Indian cricketer MS Dhoni on the big screen. He won many accolades for his performances and even attended several media press conferences with the cricketer.

Over the past few months, Bollywood has lost several big-name celebrities for various reasons. Last month actors Irfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor passed away due to complications relating to cancer.

Shushant was also suffering from personal tragedy for the last couple of weeks, as his manger too passed away last month, after falling from her 14th-floor apartment.

The investigation is still ongoing regarding her death, and whether it was accidental or intentional.

Sushant began his Bollywood career in 2013 through the film, Kai Po Che, before that he was a regular feature in different TV shows, like Kis Desh Mein Hain Mera Dil and Pavitra Rishta among others.
