Actor Shraddha Kapoor is unlikely to resume work even as the film industry prepares to begin work following government’s directives. The exact cure or vaccine for Coronavirus is yet to be found. After the two-month-long lockdown, the country is now gearing up to get back to its normal routine. The film industry too is willing to follow the guidelines set by the government in order to resume shoots at the earliest. However, looks like Shraddha Kapoor won’t be returning to work anytime soon.
The actress’ father and veteran actor Shakti Kapoor has clearly stated that neither he nor his children will resume work as he feels the threat possessed by the deadly Coronavirus outbreak is not gone yet.
Sharing his views on why he won’t be resuming work anytime soon, Shakti told ETimes, “I will not go out and work for now nor will I allow my daughter Shraddha to resume work. I don’t think the threat is gone. I feel the worst is yet to come. I won’t let my children out for now. I know work is important but not at the cost of one’s life. It will be very chaotic if people start shooting now. I tell industry people in our group that it is better to wait than pay hospital bills. It is still a very bad state of affairs outside.”
Shakti’s actress daughter Shraddha was last seen opposite Tiger Shroff in ‘Baaghi 3’. She will be next seen in Luv Ranjan’s directorial. Whereas Shakti will be next seen in the sequel of Priyadarshan’s 2003 hit film ‘Hungama’.
