PCB Appoints Younis Khan as Batting Coach For England Tour
The Pakistan cricket board has appointed former cricketer Younis Khan as the batting coach for the side for the team’s upcoming series against England in the coming months.
Younis Khan who is one of the most successful Test batsmen in Test cricket for Pakistan would be a worthy addition to the team.
The PCB also made several other announcements regarding the support staff for the team. Former cricketer, Mushtaq Ahmed was named as the spin bowling coach for the side.
PCB Appoints Younis Khan as Batting Coach For England Tour. With this announcement, there are currently three former Pakistani players in the support staff of the team, the most notable being Misbah-ul-Haq, who is the head coach for the side.
A major factor that might have promoted the board to appoint Younis as the batting coach might be his stellar record in England.
Speaking on the matter (PCB Appoints Younis Khan as Batting Coach For England Tour), Wasim Khan the chef of the PCB commented that “the board was excited that someone with the experience of Younis decided to join the team”. He stated that “Younis too was excited to serve his country”.
Speaking on the matter, Younis commented about “PCB Appoints Younis Khan as Batting Coach For England Tour” that “he felt privileged that he had been given another opportunity to represent his country”.
