The Kerela State Cricket board is reportedly considering offering disgraced Indian cricketer S. Sreeshant another shot at participation in domestic cricket.
Sreesanth who has banned for seven years by the BCCI will become eligible to play cricket again in September of this year.
He had already begun training in anticipation of his return to cricket, last year itself. Speaking on the matter, Sajan K.
Varghese the president of the KSCA commented that “the board will consider him for a spot in the team, only if he is able to prove his fitness”.
Varghese commented that “since Sreeshant had represented team India, in the past, they had full faith that the cricketer would be able to clear the fitness test and be a part of the team”.

Since last year, Sreeshant has been training under the guidance of Ramji Srinivasan, a former team India trainer.
Speaking on the matter Sreeshant commented that “Ramji was his first strength and conditioning coach and that he was following the guidelines that were set by his trainer”.
Sreesanth also commented that “his biggest inspirations for returning to cricket were Ashish Nehera and Leander Peas”.
