English cricketer Ben Stokes, has commented that “international cricket will not lose its appeal, even if it is played behind closed doors”. Stokes has commented that “he does not mind if cricket turns into a television only sport for the next few months”, due to the stoppage in play brought about the Coronavirus outbreak. These measures are expected to bring the sport back as soon as the lockdown is lifted.
